Privacy Policy

The Art of YT ("we", "us", "the service") provides YouTube analytics and creator-coaching tools delivered through the Claude.ai assistant ("the assistant"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to remove your data.

1. What we collect

When you connect your YouTube channel to The Art of YT via Google sign-in, we receive and store:

• Your Google account email and display name (basic profile).
• A YouTube OAuth refresh token (required to fetch your analytics on your behalf).
• The YouTube channel ID linked to your Google account.

When you query your channel statistics through The Art of YT, we temporarily fetch from the YouTube Analytics API:

• Aggregate view counts, watch time, and impression statistics for your own channel over the date range you request.
• Subscriber gain / loss counts.
• Per-video performance metrics for your own uploads.

We do NOT receive: your YouTube password, your channel monetization revenue figures, your private messages or comments, your subscriber list, or any data about channels you do not own.

2. How we use it

• To return your YouTube channel statistics to you inside the Claude.ai assistant.
• To authenticate your subscription and enforce per-user usage limits.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your YouTube data to any third party. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to train machine learning models.

3. Where it is stored

• Refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our Supabase database (Frankfurt, EU region).
• Statistics fetched on your behalf are held only in-memory during the response and may be cached for up to 24 hours to reduce API quota usage.
• All connections use HTTPS / TLS 1.2 or higher.

4. How to remove your data

You may revoke The Art of YT's access at any time:

• Inside Claude.ai: ask the assistant to "disconnect my YouTube".
• Or visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove "The Art of YT".
• Or email daviddeltoros1@gmail.com requesting deletion.

Upon revocation, we delete your refresh token and any cached analytics within 30 days.

5. Retention

We retain your refresh token and cached analytics until you revoke access or cancel your subscription, plus a 30-day grace window for account reactivation. After that, both are deleted.

6. Children

The service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

7. Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced to active users.

8. Google API Services compliance

The Art of YT's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
